Mary Swann

Mary Swann brings 30 years of government and commercial sector experience to winning complex procurements. She is known as an experienced, outgoing individual who brings together a diplomatic background combined with business development, coalition building, public affairs, and management experience. After retiring from the U.S. Government, she became a leader in sales and delivery to the Departments of State, Homeland Security, USAID, and Justice, resulting in new business and organic growth in current contracts. 

 

Ms. Swann is highly skilled in identifying, qualifying, and capturing information about large and small information technology services and solutions contracts, with emphasis in the cloud and virtualization, network engineering and design, system engineering and design, cyber security, and enterprise management. 

 

But equally as important, she uses her valued customer relationships as well as her overall knowledge of decision makers, programs, funding, procurement lifecycle, and delivery to help maximize success in federal marketing and winning contracts. She has an extensive network of industry and government contacts, and is knowledgeable in the emerging trends and opportunities within the Federal marketplace.

 

A native Virginian, Ms. Swann holds an undergraduate degree from Longwood College and a Professional Certificate in Public Affairs from American University.  She also has completed  course work at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and Harvard University.  She holds an ITILv.3 certification.  In her spare time, she enjoys golf and spending time with her Portuguese Water Dog.
