Kevin Savage

Associate

 

Kevin Savage is a Senior Manager of Compliance in Supply Management and a Small Business Liaison Officer (SBLO) with 28 years of experience in Government contracting.  Mr. Savage understands the needs and requirements of both Federal Contractors and the Government agencies having served on both sides during his career.  He is a subject matter expert on development and evaluation of pricing proposals, Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and contractor purchasing system requirements.   

 

He has 28 years of experience in Government Accounting and Compliance and Supply Management.  He is a former Senior Auditor with the Defense Contract Audit Agency where he spent 11 years auditing approximately 200 Federal contractors from large multinational corporations to very small sole proprietorships.  He understands both Federal contractor and Government requirements having served on both sides in his career.  His career has included support of both pricing and procurements on prime and subcontracts across most Government agencies and major defense contractors. 

 

Mr. Savage is flexible and nimble in evaluating issues and solving issues with a win/win approach.  He is adept at problem solving and executing during tight time constraints.  He provides excellent audit support to Federal contractors during Government agency audits.  He has created and performed training workshops across the world on Government pricing and cost accounting requirements to both large and small Government contractors.   

 

Mr. Savage holds an undergraduate degree in Accounting and a minor in Economics from The University of Southern Mississippi.  He has been a resident of Denver, Colorado for the past 11 years.   His hobbies include traveling, reading, basketball, football and tennis.
