Denver firm to offer assistance for Small Business Coronavirus SBA Disaster Loan applications

Denver, CO – March 16, 2020 – Capitol Steps Consulting LLC, a Colorado entity founded in 2009, is offering to assist small business owners apply for the Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) offered by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), for businesses negatively impacted by the Coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic.

As provided for by the Coronavirus Preparedness and Response Supplemental Appropriations Act recently signed by the President, an EIDL will be available to small businesses and private, non-profit organizations to help alleviate economic injury caused by the Coronavirus/COVID-19. The EIDL may be used to pay fixed debts, payroll, accounts payable and other bills that can’t be paid because of the COVID-19 impact. The interest rate is 3.75% for small businesses without credit available elsewhere; businesses with credit available elsewhere are not eligible. The interest rate for non-profits is 2.75%, and terms are determined on a case-by-case basis, based upon each borrower’s ability to repay, up to and including a 30-year term.

For 11 years, Capitol Steps Consulting has successfully engaged in state and federal contractor business development, and has submitted forms required by government on behalf of their client-partners for state and federal government vendor registrations, certifications for right-sized contractor entity classifications, grants, strict procurement regulations, and non-profit registrations – all where applications must be detailed and 100% correct upon submission.

The Capitol Steps Consulting “toolkit” allows for a business owner to manage their operation onsite and convey information through an easy, non-complicated process with a knowledgeable associate from our firm, who will deliver accurate guidance, and capture the information required, and submit the application directly to the SBA representative.

As the Colorado SBA and other U.S. states prepare their EIDL infrastructure, it is important to call, text or email us as noted above, to express interest so it may be noted in the order received. # # #
